What To Expect From Our Community Service Worker Program

The typical student must be mature, dependable and committed to helping individuals, families, groups and communities in need of assistance and support. Prior work or volunteer experience is helpful, but not essential.

The Community Service Worker training program is very intensive, involving a great deal of small group work, practice interviews and exercises in self-awareness. Employment opportunities for those with Community Service Worker diplomas are becoming more and more widespread, especially in the private sector.

One of the unique features of the program is the Selected Practice Issues course. This allows the student to concentrate on an area of personal interest in this widely varied field.
