Diploma ProgramDuring the diploma program students are educated in Regional Anatomy, Palpation, Massage Theory and Techniques, Orthopaedic Assessments, Anatomy and Physiology, Hydrotherapy, Human Relations, Ethics, Neurophysiology, Pathology, and the physiology of all the human body systems. Externship (In House)As a mandatory component of our diploma programs, all Medix students are required to complete a practical component. The massage therapy students are required to work in the Medix School Student Massage Clinic supervised by Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) throughout their program. The students will also have an opportunity to be exposed to different clientele with various conditions through the outreach program. The community outreaches allow Massage Therapy Students to perform treatments at different community events. Financial AidFinancial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
