What Will I Learn In The Medical Office Assistant Program?

The objective of the Medical Office Assistant program is to allow students to acquire satisfactory skills and demonstrate competence in a variety of medical office administrative and clinical skills necessary for employment in the health care related setting.

The medical office administrative skills include bookkeeping, billing and collection, records management, patient data collection, typing, transcription, word processing, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), appointment scheduling, written correspondence and telephone techniques.
