What Will I Learn In The Pharmacy Assistant Program?

The Pharmacy Assistant Program (formerly called the "Pharmacy Technician" program) is designed to prepare the graduate for employment in a retail pharmacy setting where a strong knowledge of pharmacology is an asset.

If you have strong interpersonal skills and think you would enjoy working as a team member and with the public, then our Pharmacy Assistant program may be right for you.

Graduates of this program learn classes of therapeutic medications, compounding of medication orders, sterile preparations, how to deal with insurance companies and ODB, generic and brand name medications.
