Professional Fitness Consultant  

Role and Responsibilities  

Professional Fitness Consultants provide safe and effective training programs to clients to assist them in achieving their fitness and lifestyle goals. Fitness consultants perform initial fitness assessments to design exercise programs customized to an individuals specific needs. They motivate clients, educate them on exercise and nutrition, and monitor progressions through regular reassessments. Any person with a desire to become a Professional Fitness Consultant should have a strong passion for health and wellness, commitment to helping people achieve goals, excellent communication and customer service skills.  

Diploma program  

The objective of the Professional Fitness diploma program offered at Medix School is to train students to become highly qualified, Certified Personal Fitness Trainers. The program offers the most up to date curriculum and hands on experience necessary to succeed within this exciting field.  

The program is designed to educate students in anatomy and physiology of all body systems, exercise prescription, fitness assessment, motivational techniques, business management, biomechanics, nutrition and much more. To learn more about the details of the program, please contact us.

Externship/Boot Camp  

As a component of our Professional Fitness program, all Medix students are required to complete the externship and boot camp. This component consists of a one week, on-site assessment and training, in Las Vegas, Nevada. For Further details please contact our Admissions department.  

Financial Aid  

Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify. Students are encouraged to visit our Business Affairs department for any questions related to tuition and/or financial aid.
